Week 14 type B entry

I just read a post in Shane Norris's blog titled Pricing. The article speaks of McDonald's restaurants and their apparent domination of the fast food industry. It does seem that McDonalds remains the king of fast food establishments, as it has been for decades. Their low pricing, even relative to other inexpensive fast food restaurants, is their selling point. As Shane stated in his post, people are willing to go to McDonalds to save the extra dollar or two, even if it means waiting 15-20 minutes. Another industry that has seen a similar situation emerge is rolling papers. Zig Zags are always the best seller, regardless of any emerging competition.
