Week 7 Type A entry

I recently read an article (http://www.opposingviews.com/i/sports/shoe-shining-broner-alexander-are-good-only-one-will-be-star-pacquiao-jordan-and-more) about Boxer Manny Pacquiao possibly switching his shoe and clothing sponsor. Pacquiao has been sponsored by Nike for years and is now thinking about a move to Air Jordan. Jordan is a branch of the Nike corporation and Basketball legend Michael Jordan's personal brand. The move is a big one for nike, who hopes to gain its Jordan brand some additional global exposure. I think that it is great that Pacquiao is considering a move to team Jordan, I have been a heavy supporter of the brand for years (it's quality speaks for itself). Team Jordan already has sponsored athletes in a wide variety of sports, boxing included. It is a good marketing move for the Jordan brand, in this age of a global economy, the more you can do to market on a world wide scale, the better.
